As an independent product on the Volkswagen MEB pure electric platform, FAW-Volkswagen ID.4 CROZZ features a more “electric vehicle style” appearance design. The front face through the front grille is connected with the LED headlights on both sides, presenting an “X” shape. The front enclosure of the new car also adopts a through-type design, with diversion openings on both sides that can rectify the air to enhance its sporty atmosphere.
The interior design is very simple and not over-designed for the sake of technology. The new car uses a full LCD instrument panel, and the electronic shift control keys are integrated on the right side of the instrument panel. In addition, the new car also uses a touch-type three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, coupled with a floating multimedia display in the central control, so that the new car’s sense of technology has been improved.
In terms of configuration, the new car has a 360-degree camera, reversing image, augmented reality head-up display system, seat heating/memory/massage, panoramic sunroof, front and rear TYPE-C interfaces and other daily configurations; at the same time, the new car is also equipped with a comprehensive driving assistance systems, including lane change assistance, ACC adaptive car following system, and automatic braking.
In terms of power, FAW-Volkswagen ID.4 CROZZ provide three kinds of battery range and three kinds of power. Among them, the standard range version has a comprehensive operating range of 400 kilometers in NEDC, the long range version is 550 kilometers, and the high-performance version is greater than 500 kilometers. At the same time, the new car also provides three different power outputs. The standard range version has a maximum power of 170 horsepower, the torque is 310 N·m; the long-range version has a maximum power of 204 ps and a maximum torque of 310 N·m; the high-performance version has a maximum power of 306 hp and a maximum torque of 460 N·m. At the same time, the high-performance version is equipped with a front permanent magnet synchronous motor and rear dual-motor four-wheel drive system for AC asynchronous motors.
